Topic: P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face (mum mum mum mah)

No, I'm not suddenly a lady gaga fan, but I am a big fan of poker.  Got into it over the last year, and try to play at least once a month with some friends.  I have recently gotten hooked on pokerstars.com, though only playing with play money, not interested in developing a gambling habit and having to remortgage my house.   

Anyhow, my post is regarding the construction of a poker table.  I have read a bit online about a whole community of poker fans, who build custom poker tables.  A wide variety of materials is available over the internet and locally, and was just wondering if any of you who read these forums has ever constructed such a project yourself.  Similar to the task of re-felting a pool table or something like that. 

Anybody ever build something like this?
