Topic: BAS has comeback

Remember United Offensive? There is a server running the beta mod. Just look for game type BAS. It's an AX server name or something like that. They only have tanks right now but it's still pretty close to the original. I like it!!

They did an great job on the mod.
Currently the mod has 3 large tank maps for testing.
Played all 3 maps brings the base assault gameplay from UO to Cod5

A little background on World at War Base Assault

    This is a complete rebuild of the Base Assault gametype from UO (United Offensive) for World at War. Features many old favorites and will eventually feature conversions of all stock UO BAS maps.

I was playing yesterday and someone said they should get ahold of Sparks. He's a mapping god is what they said. So go give them some maps or something. I think they have done a great job so far.

I asked if they would release the mod for mappers to add it to new maps , reply was no at this time.

  Speaking of the mapping god I think I have a new map for you its going to take a bit to get you the intel for it but I think to would be great if you could make it  . . . its just my JSS here but it would be cool as hell to re build it some time.
