Well, here it is.  This is what I spent my free time on the past two weeks.  I built this from plywood, screws, vinyl, foam padding and special poker table felt-like surface.  Came out pretty nice.  Has folding legs for storage.

If only there was a game developer that would come out with something we could all really enjoy again.  Of coarse, it doesn't help when work leaves you way too tired to game at night with your friends.

tease i think i have more fun in MMo's anymore , fps just gets boring fast
i do find it funny they keep making fps more into mmo's , look how you have xp and have to rank up to get stuff and so on  whistling
next will have to pay monthly to play just like mmo's

That's where the CoD franchise is going.  Read an article about that not long ago.  They're looking to make it more into a persistent world much like the rest of MMO's.

I would gladly pay monthly for a good game that gets updated with new maps and prevents cheaters.

sadly a monthly fee don't stop cheaters, sure they get caught and banned, but still don't stop it from happening
just like with fps, there are ppl out there that live to find ways to cheat

granted its rather pathetic in MMO's but ppl are always trying like hell to find ways to exploit the system  confused

Maybe a monthly fee for monthly updates.  But I wouldn't pay a subscription only to wait 6 months for 4 maps or whatever, and I would almost guarantee that's what Activision would do.

I do need to buy some decent cards.  Not sure if I am sold on the Kem or Copag ones, but definitely something between that, and the $2 bycicle cards from the drugstore.

The playing surface is actually treated so its stain resistant and waterproof.  I poured a bit of water on a small piece I had cut off, and was able to carry it to the bathroom and dump it out, and it just beaded up on the fabric almost as if it were plastic.  PRetty cool.

 hmmm

These are what I have, just as good and half the price.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Premier-100-Plastic-Playing-Cards-4-decks_W0QQitemZ200435584890QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2eaae44f7a

4 decks for about $18 shipped.
