Thinking of getting a new headset, Mine is ok, mic sucks. I WANT THIS!

5.1 headset. $200 is the cheapest ive found em even thats alot of coin. Almost all the reviews say this is the best headset to date. You think you would need a sound card to really use them or would onboard be good enough? I have 8 Channel High Definition onboard.

i have a 5.1 surround headset, its turtle beach and actually ain't made anymore 
it works great and when i got it was only like $50

Looks cool.  Maybe (big maybe) after my current Razor set dies, I'll get these.  After all, if I'm going to go deaf playing these games, I might as well go in style.

I was also looking at the Tritton AX pro, another 5.1 headset. I really wanted the Psyko headset but dont want to spend $300, specially since the Tritton is about $180. I found that you can get these on Provantage website for $200 and change so I think im sold.

I have no opinion on sound quality, but the edimensional look the most comfortable - like a suede couch.

Looks like pleather. I found from all the headsets I have had and it seems im not alone on this, many actually including myself prefer cloth ears. The pleather doesnt breathe, making your ears get hot and over time the ear pieces get crusty.

Nevermind, do not want. All the reviews say the speakers they used are poor quality. Im sticking with the headset I originally wanted to get which is the Tritton AX Pro.

The Psykos in the link are $300. The Trittons AX Pros are still arent cheap either at $180. They are still 5.1 headsets with built in sound and removable boom mic like the Psykos but the trittons has much better sound quality.

Comparing them to the G35s, the G35s are nice but basicly the trittons are one step better.

I still didn't pick up a New Headset. I still want a new top of the line set. I really wanted the Trittons but they are prone to breaking. I think I will stick with a well known brand but this will be expensive. Sennheiser came out with their new PC 360 headset looks and is getting awesome reviews, but is around $250. Still think I will get these soon.

Yeah that was too big my bad, fixed. What you can't see is on the right ear is the volume control. no more corded volume controls.

also i never did understand the in-line volume control , they are always to far away from you to be of any use anyways 

is why i like the set i have , no controls on the cord
