How long does it take for this to become active i added two titles yesterday and still zero.
I need this to get the M1 so i can get all bronze in weapons i think, i hope the SPECACT weapons are not included.

SPECACT is something only consoles have, and I believe that's something to do with the new co-op they're getting.

Vet status should take effect right away, if I remember correctly.  It says you need 2, but all I needed was the 1943 code.  And yes, you need vet status to get the bronze achievement.

Do tell more.  How can I get vet status and the M1.  Do I need to buy something?

Vet status can only be achieved by having owned a previous BF title (1942, BF2, BF2142, BF1943).  I had 1942 and Road to Rome, but couldn't find either key.  Fortunately I had the BF1943 key (a website-based game I screwed around with a while back).

I saw some additional posts about it on the EA forums.  Might be something up with the system right now.  Took quite some time before I was even able to enter mine.

I put in my BF2 and got vet status the next day.

Does this mean that since I played BF a couple of years ago, I can do this rank up thing, too?

It's not a rank-up thing.  Vet status just gives you the m1 garand.  And as Elmo stated, it's probably the only way to get the "all bronze stars" award.  But to answer your question, yes, having owned and played one BF title in the past is how you can get your vet status.  Worth a shot to see if you can get it to work, as it seems EA's having problems updating it as Elmo pointed out.

You have to do what I did. My cdkeys wouldnt work so I checked the Battlefield forums and they said click the live support, and they will instantly add them manually for you. Its very easy and they pretty much just use that for this bug.

Ok, so after about 40 minutes of screwing around with the Vet Status thing and not getting anywhere I shot them a service request.  Now the website says I have Veteran Status, but gun not available in any of my kits.  How long after Vet Status is enabled does the gun show up?  (Got vet status last night around 11:30ish.  Today still no gun.)

Ok, took one more email and now I have my M1.  I'm glad they made it so easy.

Just a update...I can use the freakn' thing, but its not counting towards the stars.  Looks like another email is in order.  Just incase you guys want to try it, assuming you haven't already, here is the link I used.

Log in and go to "My Soldier", then click on veteran.  It's easy after that, just read the instructions.

There is a much easier way, use the live support and its instant. They will ask which games you have and you can just lie and say them all lol. Also the M1 grand is bugged and will not give stars, been that way since forever.

Now the only problem is that it doesn't give you the stars for the kills.  It a problem they say that they're working on.  We'll see how long that takes...lol
