I'm also a G5 guy.  Been using it for a couple years now.  Love it.

That Saitek mouse, however, looks freakin' awesome.  If I come across it locally, there's a chance I might splurge.

G5 for me too! I had the G7, but kept getting interference :comp26:, so I exiled it to the server and bought the G5.

I just got Imperator last week as well, Hiker.  Replaced my dying Mx518.  Man, it does move fast!  At least it has the DPI switching.  Definitely feels nice in the grip, and the adjustable thumb buttons are perfect for my small hand.
