The film music game
« on: April 04, 2006, 02:56:04 PM »
This game is going pretty well on the 1.rd forums, so I though you might like it too. It works like this. I post a fragment of the music from a film and everyone can guess which film it is. The winner gets to post the next fragment.

Only cinema movies allowed, no tv series!

Here's the first one: http://www.cuci.nl/~coenj/question_1.mp3 . Don't peak at 1rd, it's the same first question!

Wow, I'm suprised at that reaction.  I actually enjoyed seeing those movies.  Julie's a big fan of the books, too, so for her b-day every year since the second one was released on DVD I've gotten her a copy of the latest (so, yea, I've done it twice...  shhh, she doesn't know I've actually done it three times yet).  I wouldn't say I'd go running to get tickets to the next movie or even read the books, but I thought the movies were fun.  And to be honest, different than the usual crap out of Hollywood.

I did enjoy the movies, I just didn't want to go see any of them. It would have been worse if I had gone on opening day like the wife did. Her cousins (in their late 50's) are nuts over them. They also hate how the "kids" are growing up too fast. They think that they should each represent one consecutive year. Like wizards have the same K-12 system as muggles! Morons.

I hate going to movies and getting forced into arguments over the age of the actors. Or anything else for that matter. Give me a nice, quiet Saturday afternoon with just the wife, a big-ass popcorn and soda, and a box of Milk Duds.

BTW, my cell phone wallpaper is Harry Potter. The wife bought it and sent it to me. I'd change it but...

Thorndog, you got it right, so you are supposed to put a new fragment up.
