I don't know how many of you guys shoot for real,(Gene and I both do), but Frontsight Firearms Training Center in Las Vegas, NV is having a special sale of their 4 day defensive handgun training.  This course is normally $2000, but right now is $69.  I know this sounds weird being so cheap, but they do this every once in a while.  People buy them and never use them I guess.  They don't expire and they are transferable.  You get a online cert.

Sounds cool, if I lived in Vegas and had 4 free days to kill.  Wished they had something like that for a day course around here in IL, as I would go take it.

Hmmm, any of you guys taking this class?  I'd almost like to sign Marcinko up...he would have a blasty. :)  He already shoots on a regular basis and has had his CCW license for EVER. (allthough it isn't much needed in the state of AZ anymore...for now. )

Gene and I got them.  Don't know when we will be going, but they don't expire so we can schedule them whenever.

I also thought I saw something about buying 600 rounds of ammo mandatory to take the class.  I assume they want you to buy their ammo, and not bring any of your own.  Not sure what the cost is, but maybe they jack up the ammo prices, to make more money off of you.

I used to be able to get a box of 9mm ammo for just under $10, but I think now even the cheap stuff is like $30% higher?  Havent bought any in a year.
