There I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig.

"Well, whatcha gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears.

"Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd CRY. I can`t stand to see a man crying."

"This is the worst day of my life," I say. "I'm a complete failure. I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me. When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don't have any insurance. I left my wallet in the cab I took home. I found my old lady in bed with the gardener and then my dog bit me."

"So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all, I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here watching the arsenic dissolve.  Then some asshole shows up and drinks the whole thing! But enough about me, how's your day going?"

If I recall the game, I think that there are similarities, but CoH is more graphically and tactically interesting.

BTW, I got RUSE yesterday and played it for a few minutes.  I really dig it.

I can honestly say I won't be able to afford going to Vegas, especially with a layoff looming.  If you guys work something out, take a bunch of pics and have a good time, k?

What would you register as.  I do work in the IT field, but I don't know if I meet the requirements to get a free pass.  Any ideas?

Hey, I know last year we kicked around the idea of going to Vegas and meeting up for a couple of days.  I may be going with my brother in law in a couple of months, but nothing in stone yet.  I did get an e-mail today for CES 2011, and if you register now before Sept is over, its free.

I figured we may as well just register, in case for whatever reason we decide to meet up out there at this event.  Its the first week in Jan.  Cant hurt to at least register.
